1. Introduction

Welcome to Vore ("we", "our", "us"). Vore is India's first performance-based clipping marketplace that connects brands and creators with clippers who earn per view. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at voreindia.com. We process your personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). For the purposes of that Act, Vore acts as the Data Fiduciary, and you are the Data Principal.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address, full name, and password when you register.
• Profile Information: Social media handles, portfolio URLs, and creator information you provide.
• Campaign Data: Campaign details, budgets, payout rates, and instructions created by brands.
• Application Data: Applications submitted to campaigns including clipping experience and social statistics.
• Video Links: YouTube and Instagram video URLs submitted by clippers for view tracking.
• Earnings Data: View counts, milestone progress, pending and available earnings.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and provide the Vore platform and its features
• To track video view counts for campaign performance measurement
• To calculate and process earnings for clippers
• To connect brands with clippers for campaign collaborations
• To verify campaign performance and prevent fraudulent activity
• To send notifications about application status and campaign updates
• To improve our platform and user experience

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With Brands: Your name and social handle are shared with campaign creators when you apply to their campaigns.
• Service Providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication services. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. YouTube API Services & Third-Party Platform Data

Vore uses YouTube API Services to read publicly-available view count statistics on YouTube videos that clippers voluntarily submit to campaigns on our platform. By using Vore to submit YouTube video URLs, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge that Google's handling of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What YouTube data we access: When you submit a YouTube video URL to a campaign, we call the YouTube Data API v3 endpoint videos.list with part=statistics and (occasionally) part=snippet. We read only the publicly-available viewCount, video title, and thumbnail metadata on the specific video URLs you submit. We do not access, download, cache, redistribute, embed, modify, or repurpose YouTube video content itself.

How long we store YouTube-sourced data: We store publicly-available view counts and derived earnings metrics for up to 36 calendar months as permitted by the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. Video titles, thumbnails, and creator names are refreshed or deleted within 30 days per YouTube's data retention policy. After 36 months, view count data is either refreshed via the YouTube API or deleted from our records, while your own Vore-derived earnings, payout, and campaign history remain in your account as Vore business records.

YouTube account connection (OAuth): Vore optionally lets a clipper connect their YouTube account using Google Sign-In, requesting the youtube.readonly scope. We use this solely to confirm the connecting Google account owns a real YouTube channel (via the channels.list endpoint) and to record that channel's public ID, title, and handle on your Vore profile. This lets us verify that a video a clipper submits actually belongs to the channel they connected, before it's accepted into a paid campaign. We do not use this access to read private analytics, upload or modify content, or manage your channel in any way.

Revoking Vore's access to your YouTube account: You can disconnect your YouTube account from Vore at any time from your profile page, which deletes the stored channel information and access tokens from our database immediately. You can also revoke Vore's access directly from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can request deletion of any YouTube-sourced data we hold about your account at any time by emailing us at voreindiaofficial@gmail.com, or by deleting your Vore account.

Instagram API: We separately use the Meta / Instagram Graph API (Instagram Login for Business flow) to read view counts on Instagram Reels submitted by clippers who have connected their Instagram Business or Creator account to Vore. Instagram data is handled per Meta's Instagram Privacy Policy. Clippers can revoke Vore's Instagram access at any time via Instagram Settings → Apps and Websites.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. Campaign data may be retained for up to 90 days after campaign completion for dispute resolution purposes.

YouTube-sourced statistics (view counts) are retained per Section 5 above for up to 36 calendar months, after which they are refreshed or deleted. Instagram-sourced statistics follow the same retention window. Your own Vore earnings, payout amounts, and financial records are retained indefinitely as required by applicable tax and business record-keeping laws.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction and updating of inaccurate or outdated data. If you joined our waitlist, you can update the email on file yourself at voreindia.com/unsubscribe. If you have an account, you can update your profile details from your dashboard.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data, or remove yourself from our waitlist at any time at voreindia.com/unsubscribe.
• Withdraw consent at any time — including consent for marketing emails and, once connected, Instagram data access. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
• Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us (see below), and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

9. Consent & Grievance Officer

We collect and process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you join our waitlist or create an account, for the specific purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw that consent at any time using the options in Section 8.

10. Children's Privacy

Vore is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on our platform. Your continued use of Vore after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
